If you’re an Uber driver or considering becoming one, you’ll want certain things from your vehicle. You certainly won’t get a high Uber driver rating if your car is unreliable, unsafe, or has little room for your passengers. Your number one priority should be finding a vehicle comfortable enough for both you and your passengers.

Hi yes I’m looking to buy a 2008 Toyota Tacoma 4 door is this truck eligible to drive for uber as well as Lyft
Hi James,
Unfortunately Uber and Lyft do not accept trucks on their platform. Sorry!
Yes Uber and Lyft both accept 4 door trucks!!! At least in Nashville they do!
The Lincoln Mkz is imo the best car. Ultra modern interior, extremely comfortable, quiet, and 35mpg. A 2016 certified pre owned model can be had for $20k. I pay $170/month for mine. Customers love it and it’s not a bad personal vehicle either.
Thanks for the feedback, Myles!
Can i drive uber with Hyndai Accent2006 in Downingtown Pennsylvania
Hello! Please check with Uber for their requirements in your exact area. This way you get the correct information. Thank you!
I’m surprised the Spark is on this list as it doesn’t qualify for Uber or Lyft Rideshare. Maybe the older ones did, but I’ve got a 2016 and it doesn’t have enough seatbelts to qualify (only 2 in the back seat).
What is 5th he latest year car go have
Are you in Alberta, Canada yet?
We are now operational in all 50 states in USA, but unfortunately not in Canada yet.
I currently own a 2017 Hyundai Sonata hybrid, overall it’s a great car for Uber/Lyft. April – September 46 mpg and October – March 36 mpg. The only bad thing about the car is the “Rear Cross – Traffic Alert” option. If there is someone in your blind spot it loudly beeps till either you turn off your blind spot monitoring or you’re clear to merge. Sounds like a good idea but the car already has blind spot monitoring in the mirrors. That being said, all that noise is unnessarry and can cause stress/panic to the customers riding along.
If I drive a 2006 gmc envoy Denali would I qualify for Uber xl

A Volkswagen E-Golf? Really??? What a dumb suggestion. An electric only car that only can drive for about 100 miles before needing more than an hour to recharge…
I live n the RVA area, R there any Urber black driver slot available for new drivers in the Richmond, VA area.
Hello! The best thing to do is apply for Uber Black in your area.
