Leading Rideshare Service for Kids Will Run a Limited Time Promotion for New HopSkipDrive Drivers
LOS ANGELES, July 10, 2018 – Today, HyreCar Inc. (NASDAQ: HYRE), the carsharing marketplace for ridesharing, announced its partnership with HopSkipDrive in Denver, the leading rideshare service for kids.
With more than 3,000 users registered in the Denver market, HyreCar has already enabled full-time rideshare drivers to rent vehicles on its platform so they can work for gig-companies like Uber, Lyft and Postmates. This new partnership will allow Denver rideshare drivers to easily find and affordably rent large capacity vehicles (6-8 people) to drive for HopSkipDrive.
“We’re looking forward to opening up opportunities for drivers and to create a new source of income for the Denver market,” said Joe Furnari, Chief Executive Officer of HyreCar. “HopSkipDrive offers a specialized rideshare service that helps thousands of families and children. Available in Denver since April 2018, HopSkipDrive is helping families manage their busy schedules in a safe and secure way. We are happy to be a part of this unique service that also underscores our commitment to help drivers create income opportunities and for riders to get rides safely and securely every day.”
HopSkipDrive and HyreCar are partnering to make it easier for potential drivers to have access to pre-approved vehicles in the area. With HyreCar, car owners in Denver can safely rent out their idle assets to HopSkipDrive CareDrivers to earn passive income.
“We are excited to partner with HyreCar to provide HopSkipDrive CareDrivers, and potential CareDrivers, the opportunity to rent safe, vetted vehicles,” said Corey McMahon, SVP of Product and Operations at HopSkipDrive. “We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for caregivers to get on the road and HyreCar is a great end-to-end vehicle solution.”
HopSkipDrive has built stringent safety measures into its service including extensive driver and vehicle requirements. Approval as a CareDriver can take between 2-4 weeks. The partnership with HyreCar will help expedite the approval time for vehicle registration.
For a limited time between July 23rd and August 3rd, HopSkipDrive will be running a special promotion reimbursing drivers for HyreCar rental fees to get new drivers on the road before the new school year. CareDrivers will need to be approved and on the road during the timeframe to take advantage of this promotion.
HopSkipDrive offers rideshare opportunities for families all year round including activities like, school drop-off and pick up, after-school care, summer school, bar mitzvahs, play dates, tutoring, etc.
